I hate the way all the available* mechanical keyboards have flipped symbols on their keycaps.
I want my keycaps to be labeled thusly:
Now WASD are selling those custom keycaps to order: ($50 USD)
http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/ ... p-set.html
I don't think those keycaps are compatible with backlit keys, so I seek a mechanical keyboard with the following characteristics:
-- 104 keys
-- cherry mx keys
-- no backlighting
[OPTIONAL] sleep key, multimedia keys, volume knob
Thanks for reading!
*(that I am aware of)
Suggest a red cherry mx keyboard!

I'm not sure what you mean by flipped symbols. But that keycap set should work fine on a backlit keyboard--you just won't see the light shining through the symbols. Cherry MX Red isn't my cup of tea, so I can't really recommend a specific keyboard, sorry.

Just put them on your existing as long as the layout is the same .
However if you want a simple no nonsense board , get a filco, they are a good base for any custom build and easy to mod/change.
