Great non-yellowed doubleshot Alps? Best Alps chassis ever?
This would be worth getting even if you threw the actual switches into the garbage.
Bit expensive though
If someone really wants one I'd rather take this one as it looks closer to nos than the auction one. And for US people it's probably around the same price anyway:

That's a different way to look at it and I must say that you're probably right.

At least alps boards are usable without needing a special desk for it

This is interesting — a non-IBM/Lexmark/Unicomp keyboard that's allegedly buckling spring:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223237079418
Could it be a re-badged Unicomp?
If that's after a "thorough clean" I'd hate to have seen it before.

Thank's for that. The case certainly looks very similar to the Syncan TK-M501C.

Can’t wait for the Chyrosran22 review of a waffle. I wonder if the typing feel is better than some of the boards he tested.

ANSI 60% waffles? PASS. True waffles are battleship-sized (so I can pour an entire Nutella jar on it).

EDIT : testing a feature

Hotlinking from sites that don't explicitly allow it is an excellent way to see your emotes replaced with something else...
Oh, I got a couple GREAT stories of exactly this kind of thing. Don't ever hotlink from my website without my permission!

Since we are on the subject of Industrial Model M's, might as well post this one:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NICE-RARE-IBM- ... 0752.m1982
It's pricey but this is arguably the best and rarest Industrial Model M (or perhaps any Model M in general) you can own in terms of build quality.

I was actually referring to the typing feel of those awful keyboards.

If you were ever forced to type on those, you will need to enrol in the School of Dumb-ass and eventually graduate with High Distinction for contaminating yourself with the
MOST hideous Apple input devices ever created by Jobsie RIP.
