It’s *Dr.* Evil. I didn’t spend six months waiting to use a Model M.

(Yes, I need a bigger left Shift key.)

Not sure yet - I used my own keys but didn’t realize the barebones board didn’t include stabilizers. I also need to sit down and figure out the layout, as it’s not quite standard. I’ve been under the weather lately but hopefully can figure it out soon. I also usually floss mod my Fs, as my ears are s little sensitive. Lastly, I need to get a custom Shift key on a Caps Lock blank for the right Shift.

I will say that the F feels just like an AT - not *quite* as nice as an XT, but with a usable layout for an American. It’s impressive.

The Mini M definitely deserves an honorable mention, though. It’s better than any IBM Model M I’ve ever tried.

I think one question would be whether the Ellipse F is worth three times a Mini M. I think it’s twice as nice, and I think it’s down to personal choice on the value proposition.

Completely agree. I think it sounds and feels better than my new model M and 1980s.
