just so you know, i bought the set specifically for a black winkey dell, the stem of the tai-hao enter is in the middle while the dell uses an offset.
same goes for an iso focus fk-2002.
"mounted" on dell: are there any vintage iso boards with such offset like on the tai-hao enter? please let me know.
im very sad.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNQXgoAgVKY
even shows the enter keycap (dell and taihao) in one frame i do see it now but did not when i watched the video..

We've talked about Alps ISO Enter keys at least a couple times in the past. There were at least four different stem locations:doomsday_device wrote: 23 Jan 2023, 18:59 just so you know, i bought the set specifically for a black winkey dell, the stem of the tai-hao enter is in the middle while the dell uses an offset.

Sorry. I was just trying to answer your question. I'm a happy Tai Hao customer, but I haven't bought the new Alps sets for similar reasons.doomsday_device wrote: 24 Jan 2023, 17:30 yes but what is the point if it doesnt fit the two most common vintage boards?

As I´am somewhat responsible for getting tai-hao to produce the ISO DE Version of this Set and iam in already in contact with one of their reps, i forwarded this issue to them as well. Thank you very much for posting it here.

Uh, which two? There are four (?) different possibilities for the ISO Enter stem position.
Tai Hao provides outstanding customer service. I've had similar good experiences when I've asked questions and bought their products. Now if they could just make up the odd caps for the various Northgates they'd have at least one more customer (me...) for the new Alps sets.

Tai-hao really needs to fix or sell a 7U space bar with proper cherry stabilizer spacing. I would pay anything for a space bar that works so I can finish my stupid SKFL keeb. The set has a lot of keys that arent compatible with SKFL and other alps switches with the bar in the key stem but more of a nitpick since not a lot of people will be using caps for those types of switches.

Update:
Tai-Hao sent me the new Layout. They added the DELL / Focus compatible Enter Key and another stepped caps lock for greater compatibility.
Edit: Here are fitting stabs for the alps kit: https://shop.tai-hao.com/products/stabi ... d-hook-set
Also if you want to save 15% , use code "retroalps15" ( I wont get any money out of that )

Likewise, thanks! It's interesting to see Tai Hao's names for the various stabilizer parts.hellothere wrote: 08 Feb 2023, 03:47I'm going to buy two or three of these. no, sadly i dont. sorryApplet wrote: 07 Feb 2023, 15:33 Do you know if they have any plans to fix the MX-stab position on the 7u spacebars? Including a spacebar with 57+57 distance for stab-positions would be good.

Thanks, that brings joy to my heart. After all the back and forth with them, its a wild feeling of getting a giant company in china to produce something that you (and hopefully others) want.hellothere wrote: 08 Feb 2023, 03:47 I'm going to buy two or three of these. Thanks for posting this!
