Have been working on this the past few weeks, it's not totally complete yet, either. I still have to create the switch housing, and fix a few quirks with the assembly. The part files and a few screenshots are attached. My hope with providing the files is so that someone can improve on them. I am currently operating on the "evaluation demo" of Inventor, so I probably won't be able to work on them again once it has expired. Let me know what you think!

Edit: My homemade 3D scans can't get those small details, great work. Accurately measuring those to get them right is very difficult. How accurate is it?

I wish it was more accurate, the reason I made it was more for an animation than maybe a recreation in real life. I'd like to see if I can use some of the measurements from the one you created. Also, this was the first time I have used CAD software, took a while to learn. Thanks for the link.

EDIT: To be honest, an electric caliper could have been really helpful... I measured it mostly by hand. I used photos I took, and sometimes I had to make a few estimates at some points.

I could easily animate it later for you if you want me to, with spring and all. Let me know once you have finished it.

Edit: I have a high end digital caliper, but recreating it precisely is hard even with one.

Well, the problem is that literally in about an hour or so I'm leaving and not going to be at home for about a month. That's why I chose to post this today, so maybe someone could work on it, and get more accurate measurements. Otherwise, I'll get back to it when I'm home again.

Please upload in an open format, preferably step. Thanks though

Could someone with inventor please open the files and save them in step, stl, iges or whatever format you choose that is not proprietary. Thanks in advance.
