Anybody heard/seen one of these? Just saw this mentioned on another forum.

Usefulness debatable, but I'll hold off judgement till I see a price.

Demo video is 3D render, but they already have pre-order page. Neat-o.

Learn to type blind - save dollar$!

EDIT: Ooh nice, a model F cameo.

I'm no ergo expert but i can imagine this would cause neck strain as you are constantly looking down at the keyboard.

Learn to touch type!

Agreed about the ergonomics, but I have a colleague who hunts and pecks with two fingers - I think he'd find one useful.

Now if they build in some form of predictive text as well... The idea is that if you have to look at the keys, then you might not be all that fast, so word completion could have real value for their customers.

It wouldn't cause any more neck strain than a hunt-and-pecker experiences, and may alleviate some (as well as speeding the hunt-and-pecker up).

I'll take the Model F, though.

Be a real pain if you've remapped the keyboard in software (or with soarer's converter) as the screen will display the qwerty instead of the dvorak/colemak/whatever...
