I can remember what size bolts, washers and its you need for the bolt mod. Can't find the original article, think it got lost in GH "rollback"

M2(2mm). dunno imperial size.
Sandy55's original page still be there. http://sandy55.fc2web.com/keyboard/repair_model_m.html
Also you can find new geekhack wiki page though I don't know it is useful as old wiki was.

P.S. I used only M2 tapping screws(and washers) without nuts for my mod, it is OK so far :)

I don't know whether you are in the US, and/or whether McMaster-Carr would ship to you, but here is what works well for an IBM Model M bolt-mod.

The 4th (last) item on the list is self-tapping screws for the front row, where the plastic ridge stands up. Clipping out notches from that ridge and installing bolts is better, but the self-tappers are easier. Also, they are expensive - 10 of them cost what 100 of the others cost!
