Quick question on plate mounting

How exactly does it work? The switches are mounted to the board and then the PCB is placed behind them and they're all soldered to it? So to remove one, one has to unsolder them all first?

You can drill one out.
But I'm afraid to remove them without destruction, you need to desolder all of them.
