If you want to have at least a tiny part of the Beamspring experience, I have something for you. With the help of some folk at Reddit I found the modern remake of the font used on IBM caps (known as Leroy Lettering). If you want to use it on your modern PC here's the digitial remade version: https://fontesk.com/routed-gothic-typeface/

Steaming shit looks a bit iffy but otherwise a handsome development. Thanks. ;)

Actually, on closer look, it needs some work:

Image
Image

Namely:
1 stroke on top
3 round top
4 sharp corners
5 top heavier, more like inverted 2
8 flat whitespace both sides of centre bar
9 heavier top
0 rounder than O
@ smaller a and shorter tail
$ no bar through centre of s
& very wrong, much narrower and curved
Q stroke more central
! tapered like a quote mark
S terminals not quite as closed
G stroke full pair with vertical as well as horizontal bars
J much wider
K upward and downward lines diverge from a single point, slightly right of the stem. I’ll go take a closer photo
C slightly more open

Also the â symbol indicates lowercase a should be double decked, not α.
