I had an Apple //e in 1984 and then a IIgs that I used from 1986 to 1989. The arrow key arrangement was the same on both keyboards and I was quite used to it in games games and word processing. I still have no problems using that ...

Compared to their later keyboards, the Focus 727 and 747 seem very.... plane. Focus (and Northgate) hadn't quite gotten their keyboard identity at this point yet. It lacks the gizmos you'd find later on other Focus boards. Still, I think it looks exceptionally elegant, personally :) .

I purposely left the top row (except for ESC) and caps lock with MX blues, but put the Tawain Jet Axis switches everywhere else. I wound up having to put MX blue switches back for the stabilized keys ...

I successfully desoldered all of the switches. Now I do the same with my QFR with MX blues and put these on in a few days.
